Built in the 1960's, this round apartment building stands out on Fairfield Avenue. When I was in my 20’s I used to go to Karaoke in the Queen’s Restaurant when this building was known as the Fountain.

I frequently visited a friend who lived here until recently and one day he commented, "I feel like I live in a purple martin bird house!" That was all the inspiration I needed to create this piece showing the building inhabited by birds.
